Synopsis

In Protectoid you take on the role of a cybernetic hero, half man and half machine, tasked with defending Earth from an alien threat. A massive mothership releases deadly mines that you must destroy in daring flights. Power-ups boost your firepower, but your shield weakens every time it is hit. The challenge is to protect the city from destruction and survive against the relentless mines.
