Synopsis

Dans I, of the Mask, le joueur contrôle un personnage en 2D placé sur un fond en 3D, où le but est de naviguer dans un labyrinthe tout en collectant des pièces afin de construire un robot. Ces pièces doivent être collectées dans un ordre prédéfini, ce qui favorise l'exploration. En atteignant certaines parties du labyrinthe, le joueur est confronté à un choix. Trois cristaux apparaissent, chacun permettant une action bonus différente : l'un déplacera le joueur vers une autre jonction similaire, l'autre déplacera le joueur vers une section différente du labyrinthe, et le dernier permettra de rassembler toutes les pièces du robot à cette jonction du labyrinthe.
